Thank you for taking a moment to learn about Perinton Community
Church. Perinton Community Church (PCC) is a Christian Church.
This means that we are one of hundreds of thousands of congregations
all over the world that follow Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord. We
are united with believers throughout the world who likewise delight in
Jesus and worship him alone.
We are an evangelical church. This means that the focus of our belief and mission come from the good news found in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, free from error.
We are a non-denominational church. We are not affiliated with any particular denomination, although we are members of the National Association of Evangelicals.
We are an intergenerational church. There is a real family feel here. We are blessed to have all ages, from infants to seniors, living and serving side by side. Our children are a priority for us, and we welcome them in our worship service and ministries.
"Connect" is a word I use to describe PCC to guests and new friends. We make every effort to:
Connect with God through worship, Bible study and prayer…three essentials in a strong, growing relationship with God.
Connect with God’s people…truly participating in the community of faith (e.g., join a small group, serve alongside others). We’ll never make it alone in this world; we need the Church. Our aim is to not just love people into the Kingdom of the Lord, but to love them in the Kingdom.
Connect with our Community… we believe we can be a great community for the wider community around us. PCC is energized by outreach to our neighbors, not drained by it.
Connect with the World…learning about and investing in the relationships with those in the Lord’s mission all around the world.
The people of PCC want you to know it is our heartfelt desire as a church to represent the beauty of Jesus Christ and His merciful, saving love in the Perinton region and throughout the world. It is our prayer that the lives we touch will find their now and forever satisfaction in God.
