The Spring 2009-2010 session of Adult Life Education classes will begin in early April and will run from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM each sunday morning.  Specific class titles will be listed when they are available.

“The Great House of God"            Anne Hartsough

 In Max Lucado's "The Great House of God" we'll read, discuss, and learn together how God wants to be our dwelling place, our Father, and our foundaion for life.  Over the weeks available we will interact with this book and learn to apply the Lord's Prayer to our everyday lives.

“Philippians:  Paul's Happiest Letter”            Chuck Vogt                                         

 Despite being in a Roman prison, Paul shares an infectious joy as he encourages us to really live with Jesus.  As we examine one of Paul's most personal letters, we will better understand what it means to choose joy in our everyday life.

"Evolution - The Christian Response"             Chad Goodchild

Following the 150th anniversary of Darwin's Origin of Species, Evolution is everywhere in today's media.  Its assumptions fundamentally challenge the biblical account of Genesis.  In this class we'll tackle the toughest questions regarding dinosaurs, neanderthal man, the flood, radiometric dating and the assertions of evolution itself.  The Bible will serve as our guide,  and the answers may surprise you.

"Where Have We Come From?"            Jeff Fuhrman & Mike Skifstad

The History of the Church from the New Testament Age to the Fall of the Roman Empire.  God gave us His Word, and His people have taught it and lived it; and the Kingdom of the Lord has advanced.  We'll start with the history of how we got the Bible, and trace the Church's teaching, formation and mission through the first few centuries after the Lord's ascension.
