Men:
The purpose of the
PCC Mens’ Ministry is to provide
fellowship, encouragement and support, as well as opportunities for
evangelism,
spiritual growth and development to the men of PCC.
Men’s Breakfast:
The backbone of the
program is the Men’s Breakfast, a
Saturday morning event that occurs five times a year.
The breakfast provides fellowship while
gathering and enjoying the breakfast.
A brief presentation
follows the meal. At times this may be
planning, or discussing
plans for Bible studies or other events.
Most often it is a time of discussion of some of the issues
unique to a
man’s life and work, presented by one of our pastors, other men from
PCC or
from other sister churches or evangelical ministries.
The presentation is always followed by a
question and discussion time.
Study Groups:
Study groups are
promoted, and supported by identification
of topics, books, or other biblically based materials for the smaller
group’s
choosing. Groups generally meet every
two to four weeks throughout the program year.
Prayer for each other and for the PCC family is a part of these
small
group gatherings.
Men’s Retreat:
Men’s Retreats
provide a time when we will gather for a day
of fellowship, Biblical teaching, and spiritual as well as physical
recreation. Our intent is that such
retreats will be held at least annually.
Knowing: As iron sharpens
iron, so one man sharpens another”
(Proverbs 27:17), we know that Christian men need to gather together
for
refreshment and fellowship, for guidance and encouragement, and for
personal as
well as corporate spiritual growth.
Women:
Women’s
Ministry at
PCC:
Care Ministry:
Providing for
families in the church who need help in a
variety of ways when faced with trials and joys that stress the
household.
Bible Study:
Providing a variety of studies for women for their spiritual
growth and development
Special Events:
Annual Women’s
Retreat, Christmas Brunch and other
activities for women to take part in for fellowship and friendship
building.
Small
Groups:
In the New
Testament, the phrase
“one another” is used at least 58 times to describe how believers
should relate
to others. Since the early church,
followers of Jesus Christ have met together in small groups. At
All of our Small Groups
are made up of four to twelve
individuals and are led by people like you.
They meet periodically in homes at times chosen by each
individual Small
Group. For a current list of Small
Groups or if you would like to start a Small Group please us the

suited for you.
Adult
Christian
Education (A.C.E.):
The purpose of Adult Christian
Education at
PCC is to
train believers to think Biblically. We
want to develop a Biblical Worldview that allows us to interpret life
through
God's Word. In this way we can glorify God by expressing love to Him
with the
whole mind, thus helping to fulfill the Great Commandment--to love God
with all
your mind. There are essential areas of education that we believe all
people
should be challenged in. At PCC we offer
Adult education in an elective format along seven tracks: Old
Testament, New
Testament, History and Theology, Christian Living, Basic Foundations
and
C.L.A.S.S. (Purpose Driven foundations).
